[edit] Writing
James began writing in 1998 because he was "bored." He read a lot of books and decided that writing can't be that hard. He has since found out that it can be. He has written much over the years, pretty much all of it unpublished. His single biggest influence is American horror writer Stephen King. Early in 2006 his poetry from UKAuthors [3] was collected together in a small booklet called "Scribbling Drunkenly" and self published, that book being edited by fellow UKA member Claire Nixon. He was also writer of the month on UKAuthors in July 2006. "Scribbling Drunkenly 2: Lock In" was published in August 2009.
[edit] Published
James has five publishing credits to his name (as of Nov 14th 2008). His short story "Office Politics" being published by Skive Magazine, his poem "Goodbye" being published in the UKAuthors 2006 Anthology, his short story "Where are you, John?" appearing online at Demonminds.com, his short story "Bon Appetit" being published in the Grailwriters 2008 Anthology and his poem "Our Enemy Time" being published in UKAuthors 2008 Anthology.
[edit] Twisted Tongue Magazine
James has been the interviewer at Twisted Tongue magazine since its first edition in February 2006. Several basic interviews with fellow UKA [4] writers have appeared on his website Jay's Site For Sore Eyes and this lead to him wanting to do work for the magazine.
