Episteme magazine

Episteme is a new London-based international literary magazine that offers a fantastic collection of international short stories, poetry, extracts from plays and scripts, comics and photography. Each issue of Episteme uses literary works as a platform for exploring a specific cultural, political or social theme. The first issue of episteme will focus on NEW EUROPE and invites writers to submit works that explore the new European landscape and the effects of political and economical change on their life, community and their local literary tradition and heritage.

The poetics of the free market, the difference in literary expression between past and current generations of writers; becoming part of the new Europe; acceptance and rejection; the change from political exile to economical migration and transformation of national and literary identities are some of the issues that writers are welcome to explore. Please note that submissions should be in English only.

Short stories up to 2,500 words. Submissions should be of original works that have not been published in English in the past. Please email inquiries and submissions in English to This Email.
